Recorded live on May 15, 1985 at the legendary Crystal Pistol Club in Tulsa, Okla., this was the Tex Montana’s Green Party’s first or second show (both were at the Pistol). During a period the early to mid 1980s, the Crystal Pistol was a country music bar every night of the week except Wednesday, when it would host punk rock shows.

Most of the bands that played were local, but occasionally a band like Husker Du or Black Flag would make the Crystal Pistol a tour stop.
